Security Protocol

4TH SIGNAL LLC applies a layered security framework to protect client data across its marketing intelligence platform. This Security Protocol summarizes the controls and safeguards we maintain.

1. Compliance Framework

We maintain SOC2 Type II compliance and adhere to GDPR and CCPA standards. All intent intelligence is processed through clean-room compliance layers, and proprietary customer records are never pooled across clients.

2. Access Control

Access to client systems and data is restricted on a least-privilege, need-to-know basis. Multi-factor authentication is enforced for all internal accounts, and access rights are reviewed on a recurring basis and revoked promptly upon role change or departure.

3. Data Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ and at rest using industry-standard encryption. Credentials and secrets are stored in a managed secrets vault and rotated on a defined schedule.

4. Subprocessor Management

Every subprocessor is vetted under a written agreement requiring confidentiality, security, and compliance with applicable data protection laws. We maintain a current list of subprocessors and notify clients of material changes.

5. Monitoring and Logging

Production environments are continuously monitored for anomalous activity. Security event logs are retained and reviewed, and alerting is configured for suspicious access patterns.

6. Incident Response

We maintain a documented incident response plan covering detection, containment, eradication, and recovery. In the event of a confirmed security incident affecting client data, we will notify affected clients without undue delay and cooperate in remediation.

7. Business Continuity

Critical systems are backed up on a regular schedule with tested restoration procedures. We maintain continuity and disaster recovery plans designed to minimize service disruption.
